-> bear with me 좀만 참아줘/견뎌줘

by any means 어떤 수를 써서라도

-> means 수단, 방법

I'm digressing a lot.

I'll try not to digress anymore.

-> digress 삼천포로 빠지다.

I'm going to buy a car tomorrow vs I get to buy a car tomorrow.

-> 후자는 차를 살 "기회가 생겼다.'는 의미이다.

cf) I get to see Jennifer today! or I get to go watch a movie with Jennifer today.

-> 조금 더 신나는 느낌이다.

got to = gotta = have to

-> got to의 과형은 had to로 표현한다.

I gotta go look after my sister.

-> have to 의미의 got to는 항상 100% 현재상태에서만 사용한다.

I got to see Jennifer last weekend.

-> 지난 주말에 제니퍼 봤어(제니퍼 볼 기회가 생겨서 만났어)
