Back problems usually can't be treated simply, so it's most important to prevent it in advance.
-> be treated simply 간단하게 치료하다, prevent something in advance ~을 사전에 예방하다.
The most important thing is to maintain good posture at all times.
-> maintain good posture 바른 자세를 유지하다.
ex) I have bad posture.
Some people slouch over when they sit in a chair.
-> slouch over 구부정한 자세를 하다.
This puts a load on the back, and of course is no good.
-> put a load on ~에 무리를 주다, be no good 소용이 없다.
Bad posture can lead to scoliosis.
-> scoliosis 척추 측만증
This is a condition where your spine curves the wrong way.
-> curve the wrong way 비정상적인 방향으로 휘다.
Our discs in our spines can also wear out as we get older.
-> wear out 닳다.
This can lead to a herniated disc.
-> herniated disc 디스크(척추 원반 탈출증)
It causes severe pain, and can require surgery.
-> severe pain 심한 통증, require surgery 수술을 필요로 하다.

A : What's wrong? Are you hurt?
B : I'm having back problems. It's very painful.
A : I know what you're going through. I've had back pain before.
B : How did you treat it?
