Talk about how Koreans offer money gifts for special occasions.

Normally, we keep a record of the amount of money we receive from the guests.

-> keep a record of ~을 기록으로 남기다.

Then, we normally give back the same amount to them at similar occasions in the future.

-> give back the same amount 같은 금액을 돌려주다.

You normally offer more money depending on how close you are.

-> depending on how close you are 친분에 따라

    depending on ~에 따라

ex) They are all different depending on the situation.

ex) Prices are different depending on the brand.

I have to attend a friend's wedding tomorrow. 내일 친구 결혼식에 참석해야 해.

A : What are you doing for the weekend?

    B : I have to attend a friend's wedding tomorrow.

A : Oh, really? Is he or she a close friend?

    B : It's a he. He's one of my closet buddies.

    1. 너 지출 내역을 남기니?
