    take a hint 눈치를 채다. ex) It didn't take long to realize this girl could not take a hint.

    get lost 저리가. 꺼져. ex) I was about to tell her to get lost when the weirdest thing happened.

    hold hands 손을 잡다. ex) I was holding hands with this strange girl.


    How did I get into this mess? 내가 어떻게 이 지경이 된 거지?

    manly thing 남자다운 행동 ex) Finally, I did the only manly thing available when you're 7 years old.


    far from 전혀 ~이 아닌 

    ex) However, my troubles were far from over. 내 문제는 그게 다가 아니었다.

    ex) Our work is far from over. 우리의 일은 끝나려면 한참 멀었다.

    ex) The race is far from over. 경기/경주가 끝나려면 아직 멀었어.

    Things were unfolding quite nicely. 일이 꽤 잘 풀리는 것 같았다.

    at recess 쉬는 시간 ex) They broke up at recess.

    cut school 학교 수업을 빼먹다. ex) I wasn't about to cut school over it.

    invite over ~를 자기 집으로 청하다. ex) Why don't you invite her over sometime?

    pushy 지나치게 밀어붙이는, beyond belief 믿을 수 없을 정도로 ex) She's pushy beyond belief.

    kite 연 ex) I was rescuing a kite. 연을 빼내려고 했었다.


    I began to notice how wonderful the breeze smelled like sunshine and wild grass.

    I couldn't stop breathing it in filling my lungs with the sweetest smell I'd ever known.


    have one's ankle sprained 발목을 접지르다. ex) I sprained my ankle sprained.

    rash 발진, 뾰루지 ex) I have a rash.

    From that moment on(그 순간부터), that became my spot. 


    blur 희미한 ex) What happened after that was blur.

    It seemed like the whole town was there. 마을 사람 전체가 아래 있던 것 같았다.

    No view is worth my daughter' safety.

    I must've have cried for two weeks straight.


    I'm sure that's the answer to something.

    I saw the day that my view of things around me started changing 

    and I wondered did I still feel the same things about Bryce?
