Talk about rising rent prices in Korea.
One of the biggest issues when renting a house is the rent.

In Korea, rent prices are extremely high, especially in larger cities.
Plus, rent prices have been on the sharp rise in recent years.

Due to this trend, people are having problems paying the rent.

Some people get a loan to pay their rent.

However, taking out a loan from the bank is not an easy job at all.

Some people move to a smaller place to lower their rent.
That's tough too, because their quality of life goes down.

Some people move to other areas that have lower rent prices.

All in all, the housing market is giving people a hard time.

My lease is up in two months. 임대차 계약이 2개월 후에 만료돼.
A : I'm looking for a new place to live in.
B : Oh, really?
A : Yeah, my lease is up in two months.
B : Rent rises are really high these days, aren't they?

High rent prices are giving people a hard time.
