Talk about problems you had while you were shopping.


I remember when I was shopping for some shoes.

-> shop for something ~을 구매하다.


There was a pair of sandals I really liked.

-> a pair of sandals 샌들 한 켤레


However, the store did not have my size in stock. 

-> in stock 재고로


They were sold out, so I couldn't buy the sandals I wanted it.

-> sold-out 품절된, 매진된


I had to buy them at another store later on.

-> later on 나중에


I also remember when I bought a jacket online.


When I tried it on at home, it did not fit me.

-> try something on ~을 입어 보다, not fit someone ~에게 맞지 않다.


It was a bit too tight.

-> be a bit too tight 너무 꽉 맞다.


Plus, it did not look good on me and the quality was much lower than I had expected.

-> not look good on ~에게 어울리지 않다, than I had expected 내가 예상했던 것보다


I sent it back to get a refund. Since then, I don't buy jackets online anymore.

-> sent back 반품하다, get a refund 환불받다.


send back 반품하다.

I sent back the shirt.

Why don't you send the pants back?


I lost the receipt. 영수증을 읽어버렸어.

A : I really don't like these new pants.

B : Why don't you get a refund then?

A : I can't. I lost the receipt.

B : Oh, really? That's too bad.


1. 내가 원하던 색상은 재고가 없었다.

    There didn't have the color I wanted in stock.


2. 표가 몇 분 만에 매진됐어.

    The tickets were sold-out in a few minutes.

 

3. 그 드레스는 나한테 어울리지 않았어.

    The dress didn't look good on me.


4. 그는 내가 예상했었던 것보다 훨씬 늦게 집에 왔다.

    He came home much later than I had expected.
