Talk about when you got your cell phone fixed.


I have had various problems with my cell phone.


My previous phone gave me a lot of trouble.

-> give someone a lot of trouble ~에게 많은 불편을 겪게 하다.


It kept on freezing and it was very frustrated.

-> freeze 먹통이 되다, 작동이 멈추다, froze 과거형


I took it in for repairs.

-> take something in for repairs ~을 수리 맡기다.


The person at the service center changed several parts and it got better.

-> parts 부품


I didn't have to pay anything, because it was covered by a warranty.

-> be covered by a warranty 무상 보증 기간의 적용을 받다.


And then, there was a time when my screen cracked.

-> crack 깨지다.


I think I bumped it really hard somewhere.

-> bump something really hard ~을 매우 세게 부딪히다.

cf) I bumped into Brian. 브라이언과 우연이 마주쳤다.


I had to get the screen replaced.

-> get the screen replaced 화면을 교체하다.


That cost me a lot of money.

-> cost someone a lot of money 돈이 많이 들다.


I thought it was a waste of money.

-> a waste of money 돈 낭비


Since then, I always keep my phone with a phone case.


I've had it with this phone. 이 전화기 이제 더 이상은 못 쓰겠어.

A : Is your phone not working again?

B : I've had it with this phone!

A : Yeah, you seem to be having a lot of problems with it.

B : I think it's time to get a new phone.

    My puppy is giving me a lot of trouble.


2. 네 자동차 수리 맡겼니?

    Did you take your car in for repairs?


3. 내 노트북은 무상 보증 기간의 적용을 받는다.

    The laptop is covered by a warranty.


4. 수리 비용이 많이 나왔어.

    The repairs cost me a lot of money.
